Peru Lima Co-Op Single Origin Coffee

Single origin

Type: Whole bean

There's something quietly beautiful about a coffee that doesn't need to shout. Our Peru Women's Coffee Project is that kind of coffee—soft, balanced, and full of intention.

Sourced from women-led farms in the highlands of Cajamarca, this single origin Peruvian coffee brings together 110 coffee-growing families working at elevations between 1,600 and 1,900 meters. Each sip reflects their care: ripe apple sweetness, subtle almond notes, and a rich, rounded finish that feels like a warm morning embrace.

Roasted light-medium to honor the coffee's natural sweetness, this is the cup we built Lavender around. Gentle citrus zest mingles with tropical fruit, while a mellow, citric acidity keeps everything smooth and approachable. Whether you're brewing your morning ritual or reaching for an afternoon reset, this coffee offers balance, warmth, and depth—without any sharp edges.

Why We Love This - Peruvian Single-Origin Women's Co-Op Coffee

This coffee launched with us. We chose it for its inherent sweetness and delicate complexity—qualities that mirror what we wanted Lavender to feel like. Roasted lightly, you'll taste ripe red apple and cane sugar. Pulled slow for espresso, rich caramel apple emerges. Always sweet, never sour, always special. Beyond the cup, this coffee carries meaning. The Women's Coffee Project provides direct price premiums paid exclusively to participating women farmers, supporting economic independence, leadership development, and long-term community resilience in Cajamarca.
